I would probably stay away from a seller with no answers. My 300A has 6083's 
for the PA and 811's for modulators. It runs very nice at about 145-150 
watts carrier and has more than enough audio to do full modulation.  It also 
has 3B28's to replace the 866A's.
It has an additional transformer mounted to feed the 811's. It is a no hole 
addition. So it could go back to using the 809's. The VFO takes a while to 
get to a no drift temp. But I like it. You just need a hand truck to move it 
around the shop.
