I have been fighting a bandswitch wafer in a nice SX 122 that was saturated
with De-Ox-It. It changed the frequency of the first oscillator so much
that it would not oscillate on the low end of band D 14-32 megacycles.

It would not calibrate correctly on the upper end either and after cleaning
with alcohol and using some regular contact cleaner it works correctly. I
had to clean and dry the darn thing several times to accomplish the task, so
do what is specified here, be very careful with De-Ox-It.

De-Ox-It from Caig Labs [or your local Radio Shack] ranks them all IMHO.
