Hi,
The advice to clean those sockets is good advice. I did clean dust and
grime off all the sockets as well as off the bottoms of the tubes next
to the pins. I tried a blast of compressed air but I ended up physically
wiping the crud off and doing the 'final rinse' with air. artist brushes
and tooth brushes were involved. Nobody washes their supper dishes any
cleaner <grin>. The sockets look brand new even if some other parts of
the old war horse don't.
