I saved an issue as a pdf.  Could not print from it.

So, I went to the desired page and did a ctrl-PrtScn which put the 
entire screen in the clipboard.  Opening a photo retouching program I 
was able to paste this image.  Then it was a matter of cropping to get 
rid of extraneous material and just getting an image of the desired page.

A nuisance but better than nothing.
