[Boatanchors] Smart People: Gassy Tubes Reversable?

I have been watching the blue glow in beam power and some other tubes for  
some 53 years of hamming. Frankly, it is pleasing to me.
 
MV rectifiers are supposed to have a blue glow.
 
If the tube works properly in the circuit it is in, don't worry about  it.
