Just a note:

I have recently received some 1950s magazines in one shipment and two
separate shipments involving Radio News from the 1930s.
All three arrived with notes saying "Opened for Postal Inspection".  The
packages had a page taped on explaining the correct uses of Media Mail and
examples that were not correct.  No magazines or anything containing
advertisements, no matter how old.  Also no old catalogs and you take it
from there.

The way this came down, I received notices of "postage due" on a package.  I
could either put the funds into a return envelope and the packages would
then be delivered or pick them up at the local post office and pay there.

As I recall QEX, it won't pass the muster, but you might get away with it
anyway.
