[Boatanchors] [RCA] RCA receiving set

The label has a RCA civilian stock number (MI22473) and the RCN (Royal
Canadian Navy) stock (Ref.) number. It was manufactured in the Montreal RCA
facility, which is quite common as the manufacturing locale of various AR-88
variants. It looks like it was either a factory modification of the SC-88
model for the RCN, or a special order for the RCN manufactured from scratch.
In my opinion, the latter seems to be the case here.

If anyone has a good background in the AR-88/CR91/SC88 area, please take a

look at this radio. In that folder is also a note from Henry who has the
AR88 website

at WHRM. My question is: is this a true RCA remake or someone's pipe dream
?
