I had a '31 Ford that I converted to 12v neg gnd and it was pretty simple. 
(Used alternator w/voltage reg).

A lot of advantages for the conversion besides modern Ham gear;  12v lamps 
and accessories are easier to find than 6v.

Yes,  it will cost a few bux and it will all depend on whether or not you 
want to keep your PU original. . . .
