[Boatanchors] Disc caps vs paper caps

>From Joe w5jdy in Norman,Ok..  I am restoring a Zenith 1930's 6vdc farm
radio that uses a synchronous 6 pin vibrator in the power supply (no
rectifier tube)..  In the schematic it shows .01 paper caps at 1200volts
from each side of the vibrator transformer secondary to ground..  Is it OK
to use disc ceramics in their place..  I have some at 3 kv..  I think
Sprague makes a  .01 at 1600 volts but I am having trouble finding them??
