I hope he had an electrical inspector sign off. That was in 1984. We
are going to replace the AC unit soon. It's 15 years old and too small
for our sq. footage. The contractor should know what is legal.
Actually this is the second unit for the house. The first one was
replaced in 1998 just before we bought the house.
