Good Morning All,

Collins made a filter for Hammarlund which is designated 
"MFA-3 3.1 KC filter". Does anyone know which piece of 
Hammarlund equipment this was for? Google was not my friend 
in this inquiry.

     I will check a Hammarlund catalogue I have but I 
believe this was for the SP-600-JX.  Hammarlund had a 
mechanical filter adaptor which plugged in one of the IF 
sockets. By memory it had two tubes and the filter in it. 
The filter was not switchable.
