[Boatanchors] Globe King 500 HV PS Choke.

Hi,
I'm working on a sad WRL Globe King 500.
I picked the 500 HV PS chassis first.
My HV PS choke is bad per my hi-pot tester. Big carbon holes/trails to
the iron core too.
It wasn't the original HV PS choke either.
Was the original a swinging choke??. None of the manuals state more
than it's 7 Henries.
The bleeder only draws 25 ma.
Does the PA tube idle at enough milliamps without drive to avoid a swinger?
All I have in stock is a smoothing 10H 400ma 2kv that fits :-(
