[Boatanchors] LightSquared

I believe LightSquared is still at it as of a couple of months ago. As to
aircraft, commercial plans all have an INS now, I'd think. Not so General
Aviation.
The point of my citing LightSquared was not a critique of the proposed
system, but an endictment of the fact that the FCC was ever seriously
considering authorizing it, despite public and industry outcry.
This case clearly shows the FCC is more interested in politics and is more
swayed by political considerations, than technical issues.
Last night, FOX had a special on the EPA and "Sustainability". Do you know
what that agenda really involves? It's a radical Progressive agenda that
goes far, far beyond soda cans to things like social and environmental
"justice".
YMMV,
-John
