Didn't the FCC kill the LightSquared nonsense?
Perhaps I am mistaken but I am almost certain that the FCC would not allow
LS to deploy that system as intended.

Subject: [Boatanchors] LightSquared

Whom wants to be on final approach to a landing with LightSquared screwing
up the GPS signal that the cockpit is using GPS for navigation?

Commercial Aircraft use GPS for navigation, with Augmentation from the
airport.

Where is YOUR aircraft going to end up?

General Aviation is using GPS more and more to allow for direct routing.

Sure sounds like BIG problems to me!
