AMEN,

Many of us old timers who spend most of our time with tube type gear
mulling around on the HF bands don't realize the FCC has more to do than
regulate and administer ham radio licenses and spectrum use.  They are
eyeball high in the wireless industry, the clamor for more spectrum by
ATT, Verizon, and others for broader bandwidths for your "smart phones",
etc, AND they are buying this space, it is not given to them, and paying
BIG bucks for it.

At the same time we have the national broadband inititive to hook all the
firedepts, PD, SO EMS radios together in an LTE network.  They want more
spectrum space.

We'd better quiet, regulate ourselves, not stir up any congress folk and
behave like halfway educated people.  OR, we may end up losing space on
the bands.  Several enities have their eyes on 70cm, 33cm and 23cm and
other amateur bands right now.

Just my 2cts, now I'd better shut up and hold off on anymore.
