Ray, here's the link to the original Collins Collectors Association.
They've existed since the the 1980s. While other less-known groups have
popped up from time-to-time, for decades the CCA has been considered the
premier organization for information, and their ranks include numerous
former engineers and other employees from Collins Radio:

They also have an online email reflector you can join with whatever
questions specific to the brand that you can't find answers to. Check the
sidebar menu on their main page. I was privileged to be a member for a
couple decades before life got busy and much of the radio stuff fell by the
wayside.

Keep in mind that, as with any group, your mileage may vary, and the
information you receive is sometimes worth exactly what you pay for it.
