[Boatanchors] SSB Transmitter Ideas Wanted

HT32 always looked like a very solid piece of gear. That's the fancier one with more solid looking cabinet and black knobs, right?
It looks like it would have been a serious DX chaser's XMTR from
the early 1960s.

Dick
Two classics come to my mind
(1) Keely K4EEU (I hope that is correct) phasing rig
(2) A crystal filter rig that was featured in early ARRL ssb hadbk
Both were very nice bandswitched multi mode exciters. Both significant
efforts and in todays parts market probably very difficult to duplicate
I do have can make copies if really interested or at least look up the
original publication info.
However, as much as I like to build and even having many parts I would go
the route of a CE20A and 458 vfo, or CE100V or something like an HT37 or 32
or maybe a Marauder all of which fit nicely with the 2B for that period
Concentrate on the fun and most bang for the buck. Restoring can be plenty
challenging and very rewarding too.
