The market is overloaded with tube TO's of the 500 and 600 model variety.
Typical hamfest/antique radiofest price in very good condition and with a
good 1L6 and 50A1 ballast is $20-30 by the end of the day.
The earlier (1946-49) 8G005Y model with Loktal tubes is worth a bit more and
the military R-520 and R-520A can bring a lot of money.
I have the complete set that took about 10 years of non compulsive looking
to attain.
Now looking for a few of the SS models.
