The XYL and I don't have any real issues. She has her "things" she's
into, and I have mine. She simply drew a line regarding the number of
large radios.
We've been married 42 years, and I've been a ham since 1980. She
encourages me to use it and enjoy.
The issue over the size comes with the fact that I have a BC-610 AND a
T-213. Just as long as things remain significantly smaller, when it
comes to additions, then she fine with it.
She was very supportive in locating the current house. She went right
along with ensuring that we found a home that didn't have an HOA and/or
covenants.
We get along just fine. She just has no interest in becoming licensed,
and that is her choice. I think we've done well, and will continue to
do so.
This is our one and only marriage. Neither has any inclination of going
for another!
We look at it as being for life, as our elders have.
