[Boatanchors] A visit to Fair Radio - photos

Several years ago, I was visiting my son in Albuquerque
(he just finished 20 in USAF) and we went to a surplus
store out on East Central Avenue (old Route 66). We had
hardly walked in when he commented it smelled "like home!"

I was out there again in April and looked for the place
but I guess it has folded or moved elsewhere. It was
named "Altair" IIRC from the owner's history with the
computers of the same name. He sold on eBay as "riatla"
and I have bought from him several times on eBay.
