Todd, thank you for the correction - you are correct, the line should have been phrased "you are" rather than "your." I purposely inserted that in because I knew you - in particular - and others who have a flair for scarism would correct Dr. Knepper's grammar. Atta boy, Tod.
With that said, why don't you let your lady speak on the subject. Certainly she is the qualified expert with her many degrees, etc. Great that she is close to earning a doctorate - remember to ask her what ABT mean!
Now let's - or is that "lets" get back to boatanchors.

For those of you who never taught in the public schools, what you know about our schools could be written on the head of a pin.
An assumption that only a public school teacher would make. While I never claimed to be an expert, the woman I'm married to has considerable depth on the subject. By her early 30s she'd already earned four degrees; two Bachelor's, two Master's, and is close to completing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership (I believe it's called EdD instead of PhD). She's taught in both public and private school, served in several administrative roles, and is currently running a private school as principal. Studying under her (so to speak) along with the many years spent in the public school system before it was destroyed by the unions does, in my opinion, make me qualified to comment.
But as one member was good enough to remind me of privately, this turn in the conversation, while interesting to some, really has little to do with boatanchor radio equipment. Experts are a dime a dozen. Many who make the claim end up being nothing more than egomaniacs, crooks, or both. I prefer to remain blissfully ignorant, all the while enjoying the entertainment provided by certain radio experts.

BTW Dave, I think the word you were looking for in the 'expert' line of your response was the contraction "you're", not the second person possessive adjective "your". From the many corrections you've made to others over the years, I know these things are important to you. (o:
