Historical scholars will be quick to point out that this series of 85 
articles or essays promoting the ratification of the U.S. Constitution, 
written by Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, and James Hamilton, would be most 
challenging even to college students.  That is, perhaps, why the Federalist 
papers are not generally inserted into the high school curriculum - but they 
should, IMHO.

Let's us put away our iPads and iPods and get down to some serious reading 
for a change.
