David et al,
Pardon me, but I just can't help myself... Did you really write these lines
as they are below? Thanks for the chuckle!
"For those of you who never taught in the public schools, what you know
about our schools could be written on the head of a pin.
Stick to radio - your the expert there, not on American education.
from an retired teacher and administrator
Now you know the rest of the story!"
The public schools failed my siblings, my sons and me. All ended up in
private Catholic schools where they received fine educations and have done
well. I believe in public education as a birthright for every child, along
with a parent's right to decide where that education will be done. Support
vouchers and those who will provide them as a counter-balance to the
government education monopoly.
Thanks & 73,
Gordon Beattie, W2TTT
