[Boatanchors] VE day

Mine was obviously an overstatement and not true as written.

Are any high school students required to read The Federalist Papers as a 
part of American History?

I got my first slide rule in about 1952.  Used it my Jr. and Sr. years 
in high school.  Hated slide rule 101 in engineering school.
