     I have had some luck repairing headphone cords and have 
even made them.  If they are not rotted you may be able to 
fix them.  What is wrong and what kind of phones are they 
on?

     So far as sellers not tending their tables, tell me 
about it, I run into this at camera sales, swap meets, etc., 
I guess their social life is more important.
