Hi Phil

I hear something similar. There are blobs of this noise
starting at 140 kc, and every 70 kc up the band. In my case, it
disappears at 80 meters. The blob at 770 is weak, but at 840
it is pretty noticeable. Sometimes 840 shifts down to 825, but
it then comes back to 840. Driving around the neighborhood confirms
that it is coming from my house.

It seems like there is a "cloud" of this noise surrounding the house,
with no obvious peaks, and no smoking gun source. It does seem to be
strongest around a ground wire however. I thought it might have
something to do with the power meter, but I had the power company
pull the meter, with no change.

I have a 5KW AM station about 2 miles away, and am wondering if that
may be a part of the problem, but just haven't had the time to get
back to it, too many other projects keep getting in the way and it
is more of an annoyance than a real problem.
