I have redone the replacement frequency dials and fiducials that I am making for the Heath DX-100, DX-100B, and VF-1 units.  The lettering on the dials is better and the plastic used is thinner which allows the dials not to be used with an aluminum ring.  However, an aluminum reinforcement ring is available if desired.  The price for the dial without the aluminum ring is substantially reduced because the new manufacturing techniques considerably reduce the effort needed to reproduce the dials.

A new plastic has been obtained for the fiducial which more closely resembles the original green.  Not "perfect", but substantially closer than what was used before.  These new fiducials are considerably more flexible than the original ones and are MUCH less likely to be damaged.
