OOPS ... my error. Not SO 239 connectors ... I meant PL
259 connectors

I agree with David Stinson that new connectors may be a
better answer but if these are just tarnished the tarnish
can be removed with silver polish or a cleaner like Zud of
Barkeeper's Friend and a toothbrush. Zud and Barkeeper's
Friend use oxalic acid, a reducing agent which tends to
convert silver oxide back into silver. I find them a bit
easier to control than cleaners using phosphoric acid like
TarnX.

I have a number of SO 239 connectors on the ends of coax
that have been exposed to the weather for a long time.
They are tarnished, but not corroded. I want to remove them
from the coax and clean them for reuse and am wondering
what others would suggest as cleaning methods or what to use
to clean them.
It would be a shame to toss them all out because they are
tarnished and have been exposed to the elements for
long periods of time.
I was thinking maybe silver polish???
