[Boatanchors] a little OT: microphone booms

I believe it's called a Dazer or something like that. Used a great deal by
public service organizations like police and fire dispatchers. I've got one
just like it, same Shure 55S. You can adjust them slightly but as you've
discovered, having the mic attached is a must. I took the clamp off mine
and used the screw holes to mount it directly to the wall.
