Thanks for being open minded about this, Duane.

I for one have no issue with eBay posts that are educational, fun, or
otherwise "interesting" (but just ragging on an inflated buy-it-now does get
old)!  Perhaps such posts could begin with the word "eBay:" so those not
inclined to read them can more easily skip them.

However, I would hate to see this list become nothing but a collection of
pointers to subscriber's ads on eBay.  If I want a 75A-4, I'll set up an
eBay search for one, and I suspect other subscribers know how to do that as
well - or can be easily tutored.

I don't know if a motion is appropriate here, but I propose that eBay links
are acceptable provided they harbor no pecuniary interest to the poster and
begin with the word "eBay" in the subject line.
