Well crud.... OK, guys. I meant what I said about "ebay hate," but I should have kept it to myself. Saying it publicly won't stop them but it will start yet another damn fuss. Mia culpa. I should blasted know better. Gonna go burn some solder...... grumble.....

I'm sorry, Bill, but that group is certainly an exception.
I fought this battle against envy and jealousy for years on
a radio group. I heard it all: "We'll be overrun! There'll
be chaos and nothing but Ebay posts! We'll be seeing
ads for "Hello Kitty!" THE SKY IS FALLING!
THE SKY IS FALLING! YAAAAA!"
Finally, after EIGHT YEARS of this nonsense, I hit on
the right formula. I reminded them that we had been
wrangling this for *8 years,* that we were all still there,
we were still talking about radios, and I then went to the
archives for the last year. Don't remember the exact
number of posts, but there had been hundreds and
hundreds... perhaps over a thousand. It was a very
active group. Know how many Ebay links in a year?
18. That's right EIGHTEEN. Oh my goodness,
the world will surely end! All that childish pique,
jealousy, hatefullness and screaming over 18 strokes
of the "DELETE" key in a YEAR.
Know what? The carpers shut the hell up.
At least for then. I quit the group in disgust
and haven't been back. I have my own children, thanks.
I don't need grown ones.
If your group can be killed by a few Ebay links,
you don't have much of a group to start with.
Period.
