Olaf,
You might be better off doing the following, which might be safer than
a knife switch and doesn't involve finding one:
At some point 10 or 15 feet outside away from the exterior wall of the
building housing your station, make a cut in the feedline and insert a
pair of banana plugs and jacks. You can do this at a feedline
support. Use brass hardware if you can find it. When storm is near
or when you are off the air simply unplug the feedline and move it
away several feet from the jacks. You don't really need to ground it
and this will put a gap of several feet between the antenna line and
the line into the shack. A lightning hit could easily jump a knife
switch. I have done this with my ladder line to my dipoles and it
has worked out well.
