OR, if you REALLY want to have your original restored, 
look in the Yelolow Pages for "Book binding" either as 
two words or one. If you have a "good" book store in 
your town/city, ask that establishment where to get a 
book repaired/restored. 
 
As Carl said, they are not scarce. I see LOTS of 50s 
and 60s Handbooks at hamfests and swapmeets. 
 
Back in those days, I usually bought a new one every 
two or three years. Now it's maybe every 10 years!
