[Boatanchors] Capacitor question

Don't know what happened, but I somehow sent only half my message. The rest
was that I'm with you on the battery elimination, Chuck. When I took the
unit apart, there was an old Eveready Alkaline battery in it and the
negative terminal (which is the bracket that holds the battery) was the
prettiest shade of blue-green you've ever seen. By the time I wire-wheeled
all the corrosion off, there wasn't anything left of the bracket! Had to
make a new one. Then I found the articles on the about eliminating the
battery, so I already have the parts for that.
