Jim,

Just read Chapter 1 (from the CQ website) which brought back memories  
of the material's earlier publication back in the 70s.  Also brought  
back memories of a series of  contentious "rebuttal" articles run in  
CQ as I recall.  Walt nailed the subject area 40 years ago but I find,  
sadly, that rampant misunderstanding of SWR, feed line and antenna  
matching basics and effective practices persists across the ham  
community.
