So was I. I was assuming (could be problematic!) that if the impedance
behind the secondary of transformer was relatively fixed, then the impedance
in front of the transformer (primary) should also be fixed (albeit
transformed based one the ratio of turns). Higher V on the primary should
result in higher I, no?
Of course, if for some reason, a higher V on the primary (and thus
secondary) somehow caused a change in the impedance of all the circuitry
behind the secondary, then all bets would be off.
