It 'pears to me that we have a new kind of snob. Add to "wine snob" the
"wire snob". I'd been calling them "audioph00ls", but "wire snob" fits
so much better. 

"Enthusiasts" indeed: infused -- or infested -- with the spirit of the
great god Audio, before whom all must quail, and lacking the tiniest
vestige of that most uncommon quality, common sense.
