[Boatanchors] Speaker repair

This would probably only work for a very small hole, like the one that I
accidentally put in the speaker of my Fender Super Champ amplifier :-(
A screwdriver slipped out of my (arthritic) fingers while I was
tightening all the screws in the amp (I had a rattle on low notes). It
fell and made a very neat, small round hole in the cone (perhaps 1/4
inch). The screwdriver remained stuck "vertically" so there wasn't any
ripping or tearing.
I repaired it with some "Black Silicone Rubber", the kind you buy in the
auto parts store and is "electrically inert" (contains no acidic
components). It remains nice and soft and pliable and didn't seem to
affect the sound in any way. . . Not only did it not seem to affect
the sound, but unless you knew where to look, and looked closely, it is
for all practical purposes invisible.
