[Boatanchors] 4-1000A in GG question

I was referring to gain increasing with screen voltage added. The average 
4x1 pull is lucky to have 8dB gain on 10M in full GG. When I was building 
those amps it usually took 4500-5000V to get 1500W on 10 on CW/SSB. I could 
do it with 3500V plus 600 on the screen and 100W into swamped grid drive and 
easily blow past 1700W.

If you mean 15W carrier I doubt if you will see more than a 120-150W carrier 
out or 600W PEP tops on a good day with a new tube in GG. Maybe more in a 
10M monobander as all that other stuff really eats up power.
