Duane, It is in fact the original Zenith Transoceanic aka Model #7G605 Clipper. Check out this site for more information and pictures: http://www.transoceanic.nostalgiaair.org/pgallery.htm#7g605 . They are of course very collectible.

Subject: [Boatanchors] Zenith TransOcean Radio
Hi All,
During the Hallicrafters 40 meter Net on Saturday February 25th I became
aware of a RX that Zenith made for the Americans during WW2. It was called
the TransOcean and came with one of two front cover designs; a Sailboat or a
Bomber.
It is smaller in size then the traditional TransOceanic and does not have
all of the fancy design work and eye catching appearance. It will operate on
either internal batteries or by AC wall current.
I am very interested in learning more about its features and operation.
Anything that any of you could tell me will be much appreciated. Thanks!
