[Boatanchors] Beam question

Ive never been inside a EXP-14 so cant say if they are different than other models, however Hi Gain probably has them available since its a current product.

What kind of caps are they? Easy to get at and replace or should I begin thinking about a separate 15 meter beam?
I'm sure as old as this antenna is (manufactured in the 80s) the chances of someone having a trap lying around are
two ... slim and none.
