I need help to figure out some new meter shunts for an SB-220.,---hate to
admit.it------
Exact replacement for the original 200uA meters ,which burned up,are almost
impossibe to get.--but I do have a couple of nicely fitting meters, which
have a 1mA 1000 Ohms/Volt movement.e.g.,they are not quite as sensitive and
require different shunts or series resistors----I can use the scales and
housings from the old meters .
If you have a schematic for the SB-220, I am talking about R1 and R2
shunting the Plate Meter and the resistors that are used for the
Multimeter,to measure Grid Current,Rel.Pwr,and H.V.. (R6 ,7,8 and R9)
I am sure this has been done by quite a few poeple before and it may even
have been published b/4 .
Any help for this old guy who got his license more than 60 years ago but
probably would not pass the test to-day,hi. ??-- If it gets too complicated
or u need the schematic, pse respond directly.
Tnx Olaf,KF4TP.
