the oscillator at one spot on the dial. I was able to get  about 5 watts 
out on the transmitter into a dummy load. The output signal  sounded good when 
received on an outboard receiver. 

I can't compare or  comment on the market place Atlas was going after in 
the day but from the  little experience I recently had, I would not buy one.
