[Boatanchors] Designing Isolation Xfmr; Need Advice

Isolation transformer for safety?  Only if one is working on the old  
"AC/DC" radios, especially the ones with hot chassises.  I have an RCA  
isolation xformer apparently intended for service bench use.  The unit  
includes a tap switch to vary the output voltage over a limited range  
and I use it to run some of my older 110 vac BAs.
