Mark,

FU7 appears to be an 807 clone, i.e., a heater type tube rather than 
having a filament:

That /MIGHT/ be ok in CW mode.  However, the 2E22 has the suppressor 
grid brought out to pin 4 for modulation on AM.

Why any moron would want to use a 2E22 for a high-fi amp totally escapes 
me.  They were pretty rare in the first place.
