[Boatanchors] Diode source

These are gold-bonded Ge diodes according to www.datasheetarchive.com (a
treasure trove).
Not sure, but possibly Schottky diodes may have a significantly larger
forward voltage drop.

What frequency does the balanced modulator operate on in this rig?
