Hi Everybody,

I scrapped out a couple electronic units that nobody wanted. I have been
trying to get new homes for them more than a year. I picked the low
hanging fruit and I have 53 "new" used tubes that passed the tube tester
in my inventory. With what was already there I now have 50 of the nine
pin miniature 12AT7/12AU7 type tubes. I am moving more toward solid
state gear and even though I am NOT abandoning tube based equipment I
will *NEVER* use 50 of those tubes. I also have more than a dozen of
6SN7.

I know what some audiophool on the bay might pay for them, especially if
I use a few superfluous adjectives to describe them. I looked. I'm more
interested in seeing some hams or SWLs get them to use in radios on the
air. They make great regen radios or parts of great regen radios
especially if patterned on radios built by James H Dandy (SK) <evil
grin>.

Instead of selling them for outrageous prices to people who just don't
know any better I will trade them in ones and twos (with maybe one or
two other types) for whatever you have that might interest me. I'm not
particularly fussy. I just am probably not interested much in any more
*tubes* but I might be interested in parts that are used *with* tubes.
The value of the tubes is "nebulous" as is the value of items any of you
might have in your goody bin. Things that you are not going to use. The
great part fo trading is that both parties can feel they got a good deal
from some of pice of junque they didn't really want anyway.

73,

Bill KU8H
