[Boatanchors] WRL Globe Scout knobs and cabinet needed

The cabinet for the 65 or 65A might fit.  The dimensions of those transmitters are the same as the 40A.  All of the later Globe Scout transmitters, as well as the Globe Chief 90 and 90A, have rounded corners.

I'm not committed to being a purist about it rather any cabinet that fits
would be fine. I suspect you are correct that the cabinets were made by Bud
as I've seen many over the years though no longer available.

I believe that the cabinet for the Globe Scout 40A is different from any of
the later models.  The 40A cabinet has a large door in the top of the
cabinet whereas the later transmitters just have a small area perforated for
cooling.

The cabinet for the 40A is, I believe, a Bud cabinet.  I have several
similar looking cabinets that are slightly smaller than the 40A but look
exactly like the 40A cabinet.  Those cabinets were definitely made by Bud.

I suppose this is a long shot but does anyone have two of the round knobs as
used on any of the Globe Scout models as well as the Globe Chief?

I'm also looking for a cabinet for the model 40A which I think is the same
as the 65, 65A but not the 680.

Thanks for reading and please contact me directly at nj2r at verizon.net if you
have the items.
