Hello folks!! This morning, I telephoned Mouser to confirm that the Kobitone Mike cartridges ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE from Mouser!!

Since they were Chinese or Japanese they should be available from some source, even if from Hong Kong or some other place.

I am NOT in the microphone business!! I only purchased these over a number of years to match up with vintage rigs as I have done with the Shure 444 with my numerous Drakes.

Now I need several ceramic elements for D104 and 10D mikes. Size doesn't matter as long as they will fit and can be adapted.

I am looking for a source for elements. I hate to start converting to Electret elements because of supplying voltage to them.

Any know of a source that is reasonably priced and suitable to adapt to these mikes? If you know of a source, please share it with me along with any suggestions you might have.

I know new modern mikes can be bought reasonably, but I prefer to stick with mikes from the era of the vintage gear. I feel that boatanchor lovers will probably agree. Thanks and 73, John, K5PGW
