Folks,

They figured this problem out with the BC-610s.

Only the E model originally came with 872s.  Since these were mobile, 
they had the problem in the '40s. So even Uncle Sam moved to 3B28s.

I wonder how many BC-610s had to get re-built from the flash-over 
problem before they got smart?
